HOW TO WORK WITH ME
I’m a mom to three grown sons and a proud Nana to Harper & Lincoln! When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll find me traveling with my husband or diving into my love for home design. Photography began as a simple hobby, but it’s grown into a passion I never could have imagined. Every time a couple chooses me as their Halifax wedding photographer, I feel humbled and honored to be part of such an important chapter in their lives.
My work is inspired by you and your love translated into authentic, candid storytelling. With an intentional eye for detail, I capture not only the big, joyful moments, but also the quiet ones you may not notice in the whirlwind of your day. Like your parents holding hands during your vows, your brother tearing up as he stands beside you, or a fleeting glance shared between the two of you. These are the memories that tell your story, and I make it my mission to preserve them beautifully.

I highly recommend Candice as your wedding photographer. She is a true professional, and knows how to work with all different types of people and really knows how to capture their honest personalities in her photos.
She did our engagement photos a few months prior to our wedding. Neither of us are big "picture people" and she really made us feel comfortable in front of the lens and captured our true excitement.
Leading up to our wedding day, she was very communicative with any ideas/questions we had and was always available to chat.
On our wedding day, she was excellent and her experience helped keep us on time, and she was a big help with little details we may have been missing or didn't think of. She made all of our wedding party & family feel at ease with photos, and she was very open to any ideas we had.
Our sneak peaks came back within 2 days of our wedding, and we couldn't believe how gorgeous they were, and had so many compliments on them.

Candice was absolutely incredible! She met us before our wedding to make sure to get to know my wife and I, and find out exactly what our vision for the day was. Throughout each event she made us feel comfortable and gave great direction when needed. She was able to get the group shots we wanted but more importantly captured all the beautiful candid moments. To top it all off, she sent us a sneak peak of the photos faster then we ever imagined! We had indoor and outdoor events, both turned out perfectly, showing just how vast her range is. I would suggest reaching out and booking 18-12 months before your wedding date. Some dates are more popular than others and will book out over a year in advance. With that being said, it’s totally possible to book with less notice so it’s always best to reach out to see if I am available for your date.
01. WHEN SHOULD WE BOOK?
For weddings, Yes I do! You will receive a sneak peek within 48 hours of your wedding date , usually the next day. I do not currently give sneak peeks for sessions to ensure I can make your turn around time as fast as possible.
02. DO YOU SEND SNEAK PEEKS?
While I am a Wedding Photographer based in Halifax, Nova Scotia, I absolutely love travelling and shooting in new places. If you are looking for a photographer to travel across Nova Scotia or worldwide, I am your girl!

04. HOW MANY IMAGES DO WE GET?
The number of images you get depends on the package you choose. for Engagement, Couples and lifestyle sessions you get 40 photos and for weddings you get anywhere from 200 to 600+.
05. WHAT IS YOUR AVERAGE TURN AROUND TIME?
my turnaround time for smaller sessions is 2 weeks and 12 weeks for weddings. Rest assured, if I finish your gallery before the due date, you will be the first to know.
